Hello,

Does anyone use the proposed January 31, 2005 member health screen protocols for municipal firefighters assigned to FEMA Task Force? Includes full physical exam & vital signs ( no mandatory vision/hearing) , Chem20, CBC, UA , PFT, CXR, EKG, , HBSAg, rbc cholinesterase (baseline pesticide exposure) and vaccination/TB screening w/PPD, Influenza vacc, plus MMR/Polio/Varicella/Hepatitis A/B vacc or status.

We have stumbled on this proposed "guideline" only recently for our municipal firefighters in L.A. but are not yet implementing all of this.

Please advise or comment on updated or alternative for healthy Member Firefighters volunteering to be assigned to this FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Task Force. I checked the state regulations for the Pacific Coast and none found.

Thanks

  • Hi, (My computer has Zorin in Legacy Mode and Windows 8 in UEFI) After some days using both systems, I decided to create a new partition in FAT32, using the unallocated space in Windows. But when I switched to Zorin, it shows the unknown filesystem grub rescue error. Has my new partition taken space used by Zorin? Should I reinstall Zorin? Any help will be apprecited.
