Hugh Stott-IL-TF1 Update

Hugh Stott was a founding member of Illinois Task Force 1.  He retired after 30+ years in the fire service and most recently served as a Plans Manager on IL-TF1.  In January 2020, Hugh was diagnosed with ALS.  Click the button below to read an update from Kevin Stott on his dad's condition.  There is also a fundraiser set up in Hugh's name with the Les Turner ALS Foundation.  If you'd like to support that fundraiser by purchasing a shirt, you can find the link in at the bottom of Kevin's letter.  Please keep Hugh, his family, and the members of IL-TF1 in your prayers.

On Wednesday, May 20th, the SUSAR Board of Directors voted to reschedule the SUSAR/MSOC Conference, originally scheduled for November 2020, to the week of May 16, 2021 in Columbia, South Carolina.  Actual dates for pre-conference training and conference activities during that week have yet to be determined.  The Board also voted to permanently move future conferences to the late Spring each year.  The 2022 conference is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2022 in Florida, venue to be determined.  If your state is interested in hosting a future conference, please contact a member of the BoD.
