Hotel Information for SUSAR/MSOC Conference

If your plans have changed and you’re not still coming please let me know at randy.hill@ks.gov.  Also, if you reserved rooms at the Drury Hotel that you won’t be using, please release them by calling the hotel.  Our block of rooms at the Drury has expired.  However, I understand they do have about 7-8 rooms still available at the block price but you need to call Allison directly at 855-234-9812 if you want one of them.  We also have a second block of rooms at the Hotel in Old Town and there are 6-7 rooms still on that block.  It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the Drury and I understand they have a trolley service that may work.  There is also a Courtyard in Old Town.  There is also a Fairfield Inn that may have rooms.  If you still have no luck please try Trip Advisor as there are others listed as well.  Randy Hill

New SUSAR Forums Online!!!

We have created a NEW SUSAR Forum here at SUSAR.ORG!

These forums are designed to facilitate discussions among the various functional areas of our US&R Task Forces. We encourage team members as well as industry professionals, to utilize these forums to share information throughout the organization. This is a great way to share new techniques, training ideas, ask questions of people from other Task Forces.  One of the things that SUSAR was founded on was a way to share information. What's working and what's not working?  How does MI-TF1 handle annual canine training? How does AL-TF1 manage cache inventory? How does FL-TF3 manage multiple agency agreements? How does TX-TF2 work with the State Division of Emergency Management? How does IL-TF1 manage agreements with civilian members and liability issues? etc.

This is a great way to create an ongoing dialog to help each of our teams work together to improve the State US&R systems.

Give it a try!!!       Click Here!
